My name is DJ Moose. In the mid-ninities I was the resident DJ at some of Montreal’s hottest Goth/Industrial/EBM/Alternative Club Nights. Nights like Bar Lézard’s Incubus on Tuesdays, Saturday’s at the Sphinx, Sunday’s at the Loft, as well as having been a guest a few times for Industrial Wednesdays at one of Montreal most iconic nightclubs, Les Foufounes Électrique.

In 1997, I retired and disappeared from the scene for a little while.

In the summer of 2007, a great radio show that ran on CISM 89,3 ended. Les Mouches Noires was no more. Since then I have lamented the loss of this show that was for many, a source of new music and news of events, especially for me.

I decided to fill the void, not just by creating a podcast that you can download, but by creating this website to pass on information and news on events in Montreal, the surrounding areas, and more.
